Has anyone tried these coolers?

they are the sea strainers with coolers in the bottom, thinking of them for my transmission coolers. I dont have alot of room to mount a trans cooler anywhere and this would make it nice and clean. Any advice?

cooling is a function of surface area and heat transfer. all coolers work until this relationship gets stressed. that said they will work even better with a motec thermostat in the system to keep the oil temp in the 180 degree F range.
