    I bought a new one from BAM Marine for cheaper than my Merc mechanic was going to charge for a rebuild. Sounds like yours did the same thing as ours. Good luck

    Not Right, Thanks for the pic. The graduation was fantastic and all went well. He graduated top 4%. He called last night and told us he has been selected for the Ceremonial Guard and will be stationed in DC.

    Perhaps it will come up fairly easy or easier after running the boat for a while and things are heated up, kind of a heat gun effect. Only problem with trying that method you'll get heated up as well.

    Looks like good weather here for Memorial Day Holiday, boat is detailed, geared and beer'd. Just what we've been waiting for. We're not going but hope everyone has a great time. We will be attending our sons graduation from Navy Basic Training at Great Lakes and am very proud to do so.

    I am a lucky one I guess as my wife helps with the waxing organizing and general cleaning. I agree that the prep work is easier at home than at a slip.

    Knot, Don't know what all you're powering but we have had great luck with the Optima AGM Marine Blue Top Batteries. They recharge quicker and hold their charge longer when not in use. I know people that have gotten 10 years service out of them and they are still going strong. Our boat...

    Sad to hear of the factory closing. The bad economy was their demise definitely not the quality of the boats. Every boater I know had nothing but respect for PQ brand.

    Murf, Enjoy the single engine boat for its economical properties that is what I miss. Twins are great in all aspects except that one. I started in 1978 with a 17 and moved up to the 38 my 4th boat so it was a long road to get to where I'm now at. Thanks for the compliments on our Avenger it...
